Texas Instruments Pcixx12 Integrated Flashmedia Controller Driver Windows 7 X86

Nov 03, 2012 Hi @all, I have a new installation of Windows 7 Professional on my notebook where Texas Instruments PCIxx21 Integrated FlashMedia Controller is integrated.
I was able ot fix this in RC1. After completing a fresh install (not upgrade) I noticed a 'mass storage controller' in the device manager listed under the 'other' category. Since I knew this to be the TI flashMedia controlle that piggybacks on the TI PCMCIA controller, I tried manually adding the driver. I downloaded the acer travelmate c200 TI4in1 card reader driver for XP and extracted it to a directory. Note: I did not try to run the setup for this driver! Chicken Invaders 2 Free Download Full Version For Android. Next I went into the device manager and reinstalled the driver to the mass storage controller. When asked I chose 'browse my computer for driver software' option then browsed to the extracted file directory.
The inf file is located in a subdirectory of the extracted files. For me it was located in TMC200_TI4in1 windows tiinst directory. Click 'next' and now you can choose the 'Texas Instruments PCIxx21 Integrated FlashMedia Controller' and it will install. I install the XP driver this way on Vista RC1 build 5600. I hope this helps. I've got an Acer 5600 Notebook that was initally upgraded to Vista from XP Using the Acer upgrade DVD's. All worked fine.
I decided that I would rather do a clean Install of Vista as I hate leaving behind all the old stuff that happens after upgrades. This is where I lost the abilty to read my SD Cards and had the unkown mass storage controller listed in device manager. After searching Hi and low on the Acer Site and found nothing, I did find the driver on my Acer upgrade DVD. Its listed as ' Card Reader TI Driver 2.0.0.6.w). Ten-tec Argonaut 505 Manual. I just ran the Setup.exe program and the drivers were installed and I now have access to SD cards again:-) Despite the pointing Vista to the directory or allowing it to search the Acer DVD, it never found these drivers. It seems the only way was to run the setup program. Hope this helps.
